Can someone who has better Xs and Os understanding than me explain why the Kings are literally unimpeded getting to every loose puck in their own zone and breaking out with ease?

Rangers aren't skating that hard.

They dump it in either too hard and it flies by their teammate (usually) or to a spot their guy can't get to making retrievals extremely easy.

Its not the coach its the core. Its that simple. Team goes 20 minutes without a shot and the puck is a tad loose in front thats when its time to be a little bit of a prick in front and try to get the opposition to react to how close you are to the goalie. Nope, kreider skates immediately away to the bench. I truly believe he wants no one in the league to dislike him more than he wants to win

Roster needs to be shaken up.

Seems every team is now doing it on every power play. I thought it was stupid the first time I saw it....now it just looks idiotic.

Pretty much every good pp breakout uses it to back up the defense into a shitty gap. A lot of times the play dies if Kreider has to make a decision at the blue line
