On the ice level angle you can see it go behind the post inside the net, and then it disappears down into his equipment. Very obviously in but no conclusive camera angle staring right at it in the net, and Holtby slides himself out of the net to say "see it's not in."

Thornton was advertised as this big experienced leader with meanness etc. Galchenyuk was getting crosschecked multiple times by Pearson after the whistle and he just skated by. It’s no wonder the Sharks got their lunch stolen by the Kings and Ducks virtually every year.

Agreed, man!

Hughson describes just about everything the Leafs do in the most negative way you could describe something, down to the most trivial plays. It's annoying unless you turn it into a drinking game.

Leafs don't deserve to get that call tonight. Period...

They should have scored 7-8 goals in regulation.

I don’t understand this don’t deserve bullshit. An element to scoring is doing everything right and getting lucky that the puck goes in. They completely dominated Vancouver tonight and the puck trickled away or hit the post many times.

So if the goalie is in the net and you cant see the puck outside the net we just have to magically assume the puck is not in. Makes perfect sense.

Welcome to the NHL. This is not new. If the call on this ice is no goal and you never actually see it then it stays no goal.

Dont act like this is against Toronto it's the same call across the board.

Thornton sucker punched a goalie.
