So instead of him playing 9 mins you'd rather see him get 0? Sutter, is that you? :)

The kid needs to play 3rd line mins at least. Playing him less he will not develope to his top potential. I think he need to be given at least 12 mins to show what he can do. I think he would be best at 3 lw and against a weeker opponet. Boston isnt the game to have him come back imo.

9 minutes is better than ZERO minutes.

Our 4th line has been getting 9 mins a game. I would rather see cliffords physical playthen pearson playing such a small amount of ice time. If pearson goes in the lineup hes got to play at least 3rd lw mins.

The two things I was complaining about were not linked. I agree, Pearson needs to play at least 3rd line, so you put him with Richards and Toffoli. You then slide Frattin over to 4th line RW (or better yet, not scratch Nolan who is a perfect 4th liner). I don't care how much time they get, a line of Clifford-Fraser-Lewis is garbage and we are capable of icing a better 4th line.

Not against Boston who play a hard hitting physical game like us. Not the team to play a rookie against.

Maybe, but I doubt they're thinking that way, or he would have been in vs. a depleted Wild team, no?

Something smells off if he's not in by the next game. There's no point in interrupting his development time for a callup to eat nachos.

I agree totally with him needing to play with richards and toffoli. Against Boston however we need Clifford especially with Nolan out. I do disagree with Fraser in over Nolan but if your doing that you dont put in Pearson over Clifford taking out more of the physical play from us. Its not so much how much we are playing him but if we need the toughness id rather clifford there to do it then pearson .

I m sure the travel and his physical condition may have been the reason he would out of the lineup last night. I could be wrong there but i think i read something about travel connections there. I do agree he should be in the next game for sure.

I'm not advocating taking out Clifford for Pearson, I'm talking about putting Pearson in for Frattin who has shown no semblance of the physical game that was touted before the trade.

King-Kopi-Carter
Brown-Stoll-Williams
Pearson-Richards-Toffoli
Clifford-Fraser/Lewis-Nolan

That line-up gets Pearson in the line-up, keeps Clifford on the 4th line, and puts Nolan back in the line-up where he belongs.

(That was using Sutter's line-up as a template, if we were to shake things up, I'd go with this:

King-Kopitar-Williams
Brown-Carter-Toffoli
Pearson-Richards-Frattin
Clifford-Stoll-Nolan)

Well not exatly the lineup i would have had myself but i was basing my reason in have nolan out and fraser playing. I wouldnt pull both nolan and clifford was were i was thinking is all :) We agree on the lineup in principal keep both nolan and cifford yeah you can bring [earson in the lineup

My current Kings playlist. :sarcasm:

Pearson should play, it's a stupid excuse to not play him because the Bruins are a heavy team. It's not like we obliterate the Oilers when we play them.

Im not argueing he shouldnt play imo he should be in on the 3rd line only not playing 4th line mins. Our forth line is designed to play physical and wear down oppents having Nolan already out taking out clifford would loose any physical demension of that line. If your playing Pearson Frattin would be the one to sit not clifford.

Looks like Fraser in, Nolan out

Jon Rosen ‏@lakingsinsider 18s Line rushes: 74-11-77, 23-28-14, 21-10-73, 13-24-22; 6-8, 33-26, 44-27, 2.

:laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:

What is TM thinking? I mean Sutter, can't tell the difference at this point :sarcasm:

That's quite enough bickering for the pre-game. Save it for the PGT :P

For the record, if you're offended by a post/poster, feel free to report post or PM a mod. We're not bots and we don't always catch things immediately (I like to eat my meals away from the computer, thank you very much), but if you feel the need to call us out on our duties, there are other avenues to do that. Thanks.

Well its not like he doesn't do weird line ups so people have a good reason.

in this case its stating a reason as to why he may have done what hes done. I was actually not trying to do anything other then point to a reason as to why ( thinking there is a full moon out or one close to the touchyness of posters today myself very much included in this thinking)
