I just don't care to be honest. I'm just floating around waiting on the trade deadline. Reading threads in which (some of) our fan base wants us to lose is never good. People really should have good enough form to keep that to themselves.

How to you Suppose we get better without Elite Talent? And the only way for that to happen right now is the draft. I want the highest pick possible, so we can be better. Sorry I'm not as good of a fan as you :handclap:

The worst CBJ season (points-wise), the team went 22-47-8-5 for 57 points in 2001-2002.

Does this team have 23 more points in them? 38 games left.

I'll catch the first hour of the Jackets on the radio, and then switch over to the Monsters at 8pm. Hoping for a win so Dubi doesn't go postal in the locker room after the game.

I have nothing going on tonight so I will be able to catch the game in it's entirety. I'm hungry mmm

It shall be on in the background. It's Wed so I don't have something like BBT on the Tivo OTA. This will be the last week I watch games on cable, I'll be officially ending that relationship. I've been delaying as I wanted to see Torts and then Jones. I guess I'll just get the NHL one team thing and maybe I'll be able to watch the road games live.

I somehow missed why Golo is being scratched again lately. What's up with that? Slowly bringing him back from his injury or something else going on?

Ugh this team sucks balls. I always feel obligated to watch these pathetic scrubs though.

**** it, here's to a win. We've got a little breathing room at the bottom, one win won't hurt anything ;)

I love all this talk about losing to get an elite pick.
Just to remind you that the CBJ may finish last and pick 4th. Plus there is an 80% that the worst team does NOT get the 1st overall. Its great for teams that barely miss the playoffs and get thrown into the 1st three picks but it sucks for teams like the Jackets.
The CBJ previous picks at #4...Kelsla and Zherdev. Decent and uhhh....
Also check out Edmonton stockpiling "elite talent" for years now. How's that working out for them? The CBJ need to create a great atmosphere that will make players want to work hard and others players want to come to Cbus.

Oh...is there a game tonight??? Since I love being miserable I will watch it because I am too happy with other areas of my life and this will help balance it. :)

I don't think Edmonton is a good example of what a first round pick could do to a team. Look at all the teams that have picked first besides the Oilers in recent years; Tampa (Stamkos), New York (Tavares), Colorado (Mackinnon), and Florida (Ekblad). All of these teams are currently in a playoff spot, and their first overall picks are huge pieces on those teams. Obviously the first overall picks aren't the only reason those teams are successful, but they play a big part.
