Good luck trying to find a way to replace him with a better player
Good luck hoping he will be consistent.

They may keep him this season. But he's not going to get paid what he wants, and they aren't going put up with the inconsistency going forward. Too much risk, too much money.

A better player? Perhaps not. But, a more consistent player. One that can be relied upon. Who that is, I don't know.

Remember when people were talking about Anderson like he was going to be one of the best PWF in the game, all because he had 1 season with 47pts. 5yrs later and he's never come close to those totals again. Classic career year hype he got from fans.

I know the Bruins don't fight much anymore, but punching while down happens alot in the NHL.

Why are we letting Pasta get hit like that…..again?

That’s 1988 team everyone saw before the game would never, ever, ever have let anything close to that happen.

That will happen in the playoffs too this year …..need to fix that Sweeney…..
They let young Poitras get annihilated in consecutive games, without a response. If they ain't protecting the rookie, they won't protect the star.

Gotta play the guy so he can shake off the rust. Benching him helps no one. Remember its a marathon not a sprint the season. If it was a playoff game id agree.
Problem is, I think Forbort is only marginally better than that even at his best. Carlo can be better, but I find him to be a touch too slow and mistake prone to play this style. I am not a fan of either one. They both give a good effort and have their strengths, paticularly 25, but I would love to see upgrades on both. Edit and post script: They are both good high character guys, but this is about winning games....
