I don't know why people rip on Zadorov. Yes, he's not in danger of winning the Norris anytime soon, but he's the big, physical, clear-the-crease D-man we needed. He's got snarl. He doesn't mind mixing it up. He's not Orr or Bourque, but he's a decent puck-handler. He does the stuff people criticize Carlo for not doing. Sure, we overpaid a bit, but that's the reality of the UFA market. Complaining about that is like complaining about the weather.
 
Florida players get tax benefits. But they also get “I’m a dick” status.

Life is full of trade offs, i guess.
