Florida broke the Bruins. Consecutive playoff losses to them convinced Sweeney to focus on the question of 'how do we build a team to beat the Cats?' which for starters was too narrow a question and, what's much worse, he came up with the wrong answer. Took him and the roster down a dark path and now we are paying for it. Boston can neither beat the Panthers nor anyone else who's half-decent.

What's done is done and can't be fixed in one game. But it would be nice all the same to at least put up a fight here, however meaningless it might be in the grand scheme of things. Hope the players show some pride and grit, especially in front of their moms. They should really be as tired of losing to these guys as we all are. Fingers crossed for a good game.

I don’t know if i can watch this team anymore. Bad enough they lose but boy are they boring too.

You know what, I got a feeling they win tonight. Maybe all the BS with that hack radio guy is motivating me but I think it motivates them. I know it sounds insane and really stupid possibly, but I think they got this tonight.
Games on at 1230. So they might won to tonight lol

I’ll be watching in the midst of house hunting.

I’ll continue to watch, but have gotten less obsessive about watching games in their entirety start to finish.

I’ve jumped into a couple of games at the midpoint or thrown them on the radio, and to my surprise, life goes on.

So this is growing up?

At least there is other good sports to watch as well. The college football tournament has been pretty good, and now we have NFL playoffs starting.

Not expecting much from the Bruins, but maybe they will hang around into February and March.

Today would be just as good a day as any to begin gaining some traction.

Can someone verify game time? The NHL has the game at 1:00, not 12:30.

Edit - the GDT title has now been corrected to 1:00, it showed 12:30 earlier when I posted,

I’m the same way. Haven’t watched a full game in what feels like forever. Unfortunately there isn’t another sport I can watch. Basketball, football, and baseball all pretty much put me to sleep which I guess is not much different from the way the Bruins are playing.

I’ll be missing this one because work.
Regardless of how good or bad they are, can’t say I mind missing nationally broadcast regular season games.

Big time measuring stick against the team whose been this team nemesis the last few seasons. With all thats going on the losing streak, Bruins percentage wise dropping to 12 in the eastern conference, the drama thats been associated with Pasta and Marchand, Bruins will stop the losing streak and leave Florida with a win. Bruins win 3-1 ! Pasta with an empty netter from Marchand !

I am happy it is an early game.

We are having snow which I kind of like.

Come on Bs. Win one for the Moms (and us)....and yourselves

Hey Steve, I hope the Bruins win today.
