GDT: GAME 44 - Saturday, January 11th, 2025 - Winnipeg Jets vs. Colorado Avalanche - 6:00pm CST - SN1 - CJOB/Power 97

We bought 6 two-packs of tickets on the Black Friday sale and picked up our Lowry bobble heads. We were expecting 1 and got 6!!!

If anyone is a collector and is interested in one or two, let me know by private message.

No not really but i don't get why you would do that, what's the motivation?
I'm not sure about this particular case, but back around 06-07 when I was a youngster posting on PW Forums (pro wrestling) there was a mod who went by Sharkboy who made everyone think he passed away. Posters across the board were distraught at the news of his passing.

I can't remember how it all blew up in his face, but he got found out and it was a big mess. He got stripped of his mod duties yet continued to post. Needless to say, it was never the same for him moving forward.

With Sharkboy, thinking back on it he was probably lonely and feeling undervalued. As cliche as it might be to say, we all bring value to our collective lives and to this board. Everyone here would do well to remember that if they weren't around, someone on both sides of the veil would feel their absence. There's a good lot of you here that consistently brighten up my day.

We get caught up in the mundane at times and lose sight of what makes us unique. Things about one's self that may seem uninteresting looking inward, could be fascinating to others

I'll address this, at least my reasoning why I even said anything in the first place.

She's encouraging others to open up about their stories, and I think in the spirit of that, people's real stories.

Fine.

But it pissed me off to no end, when someone opened up and told their story, something about their dad and his decline, something that hits home on my end, and this person is telling a true story. I believe it to be real.

Yet, she's not being honest or real. That's cool with you?
You did the right thing by sharing what you did, gum shoe. How poetic that your handle is that of a detective and you cracked a case most would have overlooked. Myself included. Would you be interested in finding out if my ex got fat?

I've delt with compulsive liars before in relationships and there is nothing more destructive. Once someone is proven to be a liar, you're left standing in a hall of mirrors. Everything they've said becomes like a shadow slipping through your fingers.

I'm not pardoning whatever in God's name was going on there. I think the implications of Inanna being a phantom have bigger consequences then some have realized yet.

It doesn't change how I'll post, though. I'm a sentimental lad, I get lost in nostalgia at times and I'm a fairly open book. Any time I've shared here, it's been from the heart and it's been cathartic. Not everyone is the same, of course, and nobody should feel coerced into revealing bits of themselves should they not want to. To those who have shared personal things about themselves, good on you. For those who just want to discuss puck, good on you too.

I enjoy learning about my fellow Jets fans in this community, however much or little. Imo we have the best one on the boards.

I am ready Jagermister in one hand Czechvar in the other!

I can't watch the Jet game tonight as CITY TV has stopped the free views. It defaults to CITYTVPLUS now and you have to sign-in.

Good luck tonight Jets. Beating the Lanche at home on Saturday night would be fun and we all like fun once in a while.

Now I am off to hide as GTD’s after puck drop are like some crazy ass meth infested zombie movie.

Stay safe :sarcasm:

I won't speak to Barnaby's detective work, but he uncovered quite a few holes in things she said. Like how she was the middle child but then in a different post she had two older sisters. Then how in one post she lost her hearing at age 5 then another one claimed it was at 12.

After this was pointed out, I also realized she claimed she was now teaching English classes in Ontario, and had a BA and MA, which is a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts, but I remember from an earlier post she claimed how she was attending the faculty of Science. And I should know as I asked her questions about it privately, since Judy wanted to possibly persue forensic science.

I also did some investigative work too. The Stumbldore account was originally SilverMoose, and posted heavily on the main forums and in the Coyotes, but went inactive in late 2020. Then a year and a half later, the handle changed to Stumbledore, and there was a lot of posting made here on the Jets boards.

Finally, the poster known as Inanna joined 5 months later. And Stumbledore claimed to have seen Inanna in real life.

My guess is the same person or people operated both accounts. Likely the SilverMoose account was compromised from a data leak and someone tried an old password and got in.

As to why, probably financially motivated, either trying to silently collect personal information to compromise banking or credit card, or hoping to catfish someone into something embarrassing, and blackmail people.

This is all speculation, mind you, but I find it interesting that neither account has posted since Barnaby's excellent observations.

Thanks for you posting what you knew btw. Excellent work. I hate people who think their the smartest one in the room, lie to people. It's extra satisfying once they're exposed.

Forgot to add one thing: I googled Stumbledore to try to find information on that name, but all I found was a graphics T shirt being sold out of Chicago. Interestingly, the graphic on that T shirt was the same image on the Stumbledore account.

If I had to guess, might be a local band in Chicago, so that might narrow down the area. I pondered asking on the Blackhawks forum to see if they ever heard of that name but decided not to bother.

Love QCK, I must have seen them live 10-15 times back when I was young. It was our New Years go to at the Zoo for a few years. Got there early enough to be right in front of the stage. My buddy was a bouncer there so we felt free to go a little crazy.
Loved watching QcK and streetheart at the zoo. Perfect intimate venue for those bands. Too bad those days are gone and the live music scene is dead.
