I fully agree. Those two players are far from performing how they should. If we’re going to be bad, be bad while sending a message to the guys who are sticking around. “We see the results and are trying to help”. The key is to make sure the replacement anchor is shorter.

In both last night's post-game show and today's podcast, ECH off-handedly mentions Grubauer demanding a trade after how the team has basically abandoned him the last two starts.

I mean...I get it? But I would hope Grubauer (or perhaps more appropriately, Grubauer's agent) would realize his stats and contract make that a virtual impossibility?

Yeah. That ask is laughable. It is like a disgruntled non-productive employee complaining about not getting a promotion when all management wants to do is fire him and cannot for contract reasons.

Absolutely. I should clarify, the comment(s) were not that Grubauer had actually asked/demanded a trade but that "they wouldnt blame him if..."
