Boldy always goes supernova against the Oilers. Same with Hartman, same with F. Gaudreau.....

Not complaining though, I have boldy and Rossi on my fantasy team.

Top 5 on the team in goals vs big and Pejorative Slured, tough choice.

You are the only one in this thread that seems to think that way. Did you not see that we were on an odd man break when that Neanderthal decided to retaliate because a better player than him laid a big hit? The team has explicitly stated they don't want that shit either, for exactly that reason.
People want Brown to be physical. So he does and its "well not that way". Brown is in a tough spot I guess. Damn straight he could pick his moments better and he could be dumb, but guy feeling like he has to be doing something out there. Trouble is now every time he does its gonna be called in this game. NHL memo definitely on again.

Respectfully disagree. He was literally facing the direction to see his team had a scoring chance and he still did the dumbass play to get a penalty. He could have just skated along side that guy and engaged if the Oiler's chance fell apart. Tough guys have to also have a bit of hockey IQ to see that but he lacks that too.
Wasn't a great penalty to take but refs bought the forward swan dive by Trenin. Weak sauce.

I’m convinced McDavid and Draisaitl are trolling us now. Both are pretending to be each other. Last game Leon looks like a blue streak flying across the Kings blueline to set up a goal. Tonight Conner is standing in Leon’s spot on the power play and sniping a one timer.
They're Freaky Friday-ing.

Big fan of Boldy, still sour we never drafted him. Always knew he was going to be better than broberg and zegras
He's good but this is the first game in awhile I've seen where he's really feeling it. Couple games I watched of the Wild they were really struggling to get anything. Tonight they're sharp and definitely have worked on some offensive sets and PP. Those goals don't happen without the team practicing that. This is probably the Wilds best PP period of the whole season.

You sure can fault him. He's played like garbage and Trenin played him like a punk.

If he did that to defend a teammate, I'm good with it (though you still need to actually get your pound of flesh), but it was after he got hit cleanly.
Like I said it was over zealous. But I do believe we need that grit in our lineup, just do it better lol.

No shit we are gonna say not that way. He could use his stick as a battle axe, that would be physical too but I think we'd all agree it'd be pretty dumb if we wanna be in the business of winning hockey games.

And it's not like he was defending Davo or something. He got hit himself if I'm not mistaken, and took a selfish retaliation penalty against a guy that isn't even a real difference maker. So even if they evened up the penalties, it's of no real benefit. Its not like he was doing that to Boldy or something. Just selfish and bone headed all around.

Twas a dive for sure. Brown trying to get a fight in for a pretty standard check was still odd.

If hes gonna fight at least go find Hartman.
I think he really wants to inject what he does better than anyone else on the Oilers. Just needs to pick the right moment, that wasn't it.

They really need to change up the PK, way too aggressive and they rarely can generate turnovers. Allows too many cross seam looks

Woah woah hold on, HFMains has declared Broberg is a top pairing D now. Must be true.
I still remember the talk leading up to that draft, almost no one talked about broberg and everyone thought zegras was a sure fire star. Meanwhile me and maybe one other poster here on hfoil wanted boldy, i was calling him a surefire 70+ point winger with size and he reminded me of Rantanen at the time
