You probably would be too. Imagine being a 100+ point NHL talent and being forced to play for a C level beer league team for the remainder of your contract, but you have to show up because of the contract? I’d literally be drunk too. Literally, not hyperbole. I’d be showing up 10 minutes before face off, drunk, tossing my gear on, no warm up, throwing in a dip and checking my phone on the bench between shifts. Wouldn’t be surprised if that’s roughly where Panarin is at these days.
