Davey D was the best center that Max Pacioretty has ever played with. He was the go to guy in key situations and you had so many intangibles that you just can't put a price on that.

Desharnais was loved with his story. Too small, but put up points in the Q.

Not good enough/too small for the A, so went and destroyed the ECHL.

Got into the A and started lighting it up there.

Got to the NHL and worked his ass off and gave the Habs some depth.

Eventually got to be the top centre and still worked hard, but slowly stopped working like he did.

Idiot coaches kept giving him the ice time despite him doing jack with it and Desharnias not showing the work ethic that got him there.
