I gotta say, I think Quick has started a revolution in Goalie play. Nephew plays youth Hockey traveling Fresno/Bakersfield. A lot of the Kids playing Goalie want to be Quick, and try and emulate that Crab Style crouch.
Also the low to the ice with your eyes to see around screens. We are going to start seeing Kids get drafted in the future that play Goalie like Quick.

IT's awesome to watch.

Sounds like Quick trying to emulate his own boyhood hero in Richter. :naughty:

He thinks he's playing Philly because of all the orange.

Orange triggers Schenn.

It really is incredible how athletic goalies are now.

New way of approaching the game. Athletes eventually try to break out of the mold to gain an advantage over the standard play. For Quick it looks brilliant when it works and there are obviously his critics when it doesn't.

Lundqvist is, of course, the tried and true standard set by Roy(and to an extent Brodeur though he was more athletic). Price is the new Lundqvist.

"Andy Andreoff has been a perfect 6-0 on faceoffs"

lol, what?

Good on yah Andy Andy.
