Habs are playing absolutely terrible

I love how its always the refs , they have 2 f***ing shots on net and this game could be 5-1 already.

All those penalties were deserved. Habs shot themselves in the foot.

There is no such thing as an earned penalty in the NHL. As io said any call will be ignored if the officials feel like it. Wanna bet there will be no game management in this game other than ensuring Utah wins.

Worst period in quite a while....

It's up there with the worst periods we've had this season.

I'd argue though that the Utah players got an overwhelming majority of the 50/50 puck luck, and that the refs have only called penalties one way.

Normally these things tend to equalize during a game, so either this is an outlier in our season, or we'll get some luck going our way in the 2nd and 3rd periods.

Imagine blaming Monty when the team has 3 shots and has taken 4 penalties (one 5 on 3) in one period. Give your heads a shake. This game could easily be 4-1 already.

I don't want to blame him and you are right... the game could have been 5-1 otherwise, but man... that second goal was weak.

They only have one line that can score. The 2nd line is not contributing and the bottom 2 lines have absolutely no offensive ability.
