Boston won vs Tampa which is good for us. Looking at the standing now .that First wildcard is really for us to grab with 3 games on hand on boston and one on CBJ.Hoping Habs lose vs Utah ( tied right now) too just to unsure we start to really seperate oursleves from the pack fighting for Wildcard 2. We really in great position right now and really need to fight of everypoint possible.

A win Thrusday would be great vs Caps best team of the east if not goal should be to make it a close game to unsure at least 1 pt against them which could be huge later on.

2020 draft is the gift that keeps on giving, if not for an oversmart move they could have ended up with Peterka too with Jarventie looking more like a bust than a boom with injury concerns.

Stu, Sanderson, Greig…now Merilainen looking like a legit #1 goalie prospect with great poise and good rebound control, with good economy of movement stemming from good read of the game. Lets hope he continues his great start, which is less Hamburglar and more from basic fundamentals that make a good goalie.

Looks like the Habs are going to win another one tonight.

Really seems like we might end up competing with them for the last WC spot, but wouldn't it be awesome if both got in somehow?

Ok, maybe just awesome for me being a Montrealer. :sarcasm:

I thought Kleven played really well too,
100% agree, he has been much better the last few games. A lot less mistakes defensively and very solid on breakouts. Weirdly enough it seems to coincide when he started playing with Matinpalo ... not sure if that is just the timing of it or the fit with him, but he seems much more confident out there.

Crazy how much better him and Sanderson play when they have a legit NHL level D-partner.

I think they were paired together in Belleville last year so there's probably existing chemistry
