Game #43--Sens 4 Kings 3 Oh No We Suck Again

Garbage piece of ****, worst loss of the season as far as I can remember. ****ing morons.

The Leafs loss was worse. I think the culprits in this one are pretty easy to pin down. Toronto on Saturday night when half the roster is from Ontario and you lay that ****. Worse imo.

I seriously think Ottawa lulled 'em to sleep this afternoon. No scrums. Even Neil was quiet. Erhoff and McNabb is a nightmare out there. I don't see why Sutter thinks Mcbain is so fragile.
 
Nothing really good about this game, other than Scoring.

When the Kings don't hit these speed teams, it gets ugly.
 
McBain's upside should outweigh any defensive liabilities. He's played games where he's been the best King on the ice. At least he can elevate to that level. Erhoff you just cross your fingers and hope he doesn't ice it, turn it over, or fire it into the stands.
 
Quick wasn't too flash at the end, 3 goals in 6 shots, even if tick tack toe, is a bit brutal.

I really wish Bob wouldn't start bringing up stats like 2nd best defensive team in the league and yadiyah win percentage when scoring 3 or more in a game. We seem to get rooted every time he does it.

Every color guy does this and it kind of annoys me, Sometimes it feels like jinxing too. :cry:

Oh, come on. The team played like crap in the third. Bob reading statistics has nothing to do with it.
 
A few bad shifts in the 3rd (Pearsons double minor, Muzzin/Quick fail) and that was it.
Thought the boys had a barbecue party in the Sens zone for most of the night.
Need to get ready for the Ducks...

That's the thing, I think everyone was pretty trashy outside of Lucic-Kopitar-Toffoli and even they were a mess by the end. Can't really lay blame on this one when the whole team systematically screwed themselves.
 
It seems like the Kings need one of these games a month (sometimes a couple); to remind them that the league is not a joke.

I'm not blaming him for the loss, just saying sometimes its better not to big them up until perhaps after the game is over. They all do it, it just makes me cringe anytime he does it.


Hopefully a nice gritty game against our Div rivals will get the boys going.
