This lineup is going to lose to the Knights...are you kidding me? I predict we keep losing until Sid returns, so let’s hope that’s Friday night...Tuch, Stone and Reaves will make mincemeat of us...
We were 10-2 in December for cripes sake (unless you were being sarcastic).

Rīga, Latvia. UTC+2:00. East cost games start at 2 am, while the west cost games start at 5 am.

I used to listen to the world rally championship radio online at about 1am back in the early 00s.

The Australian and New Zealand rounds were especially messed up because of international date line lol

Bull**** baggage is manifested by Devils and Kings fans that felt jilted he ditched when he had reasons that we can't be so judgemental about to begin with.

I was hoping the Pens would sign him and hope he does very well in Montreal. A "person with baggage" wouldn't take a 2-way contract like he did at his supposed "ego."

Edit: To add, being miserable? Nah, Kovalchuk literally just wanted to be played, LA wouldn't even respect him enough to do that and that team is straight trash. The guy literally took a 2-way contract, he's willing to play any role...he literally would have been with Geno and done well or even on the 3rd line, the guy is about 10x more useful than Galchenyuk.

Well the devils got screwed big time. They got fined for signing Kovalchuk and they lost Oduya and a 1st and got nothing when he left.

Going back a number of years it was Kovy who actually brought Malkin & Ovechkin together. Both young Russians had such respect for Ilya that they were willing to put aside their differences at an All-Star weekend (I believe). Although they obviously continued to play extremely competitively against each other, it was not with the same dislike/hatred that previously existed, thanks to Ilya.

Yeah, but still. Moderating a rivalry is one thing. Personalities leading to actual friendship between Malkin and Kovalchuk may be much different.

You can bump up the Bluegers line to a good 3rd line. They’ve been awesome

Eh, from an analytical point of view, maybe. But, IMO, a good third line also contributes more offensively than they have this year. Tanev's the only guy on the line producing what you'd hope for in a 3rd liner (ie. around 30+ points). The other two are on pace for just slightly over 20 points.

Well, I knew the feeling for awhile. Even when the olympics were in russia and I had to wake up at 5 , 6 , 7am to watch hockey... that sucked.
Actually 5 am is not so bad. 2 am, however, is brutal. My fellow Latvians play for east cost teams: Elvis Merzlikins plays for the Blue Jackets, Zemgus Girgensons for the Sabres, Rudolfs Balcers for the Senators and Teddy Blueger, well, you already know where he plays.

Give them more offensive zone starts and they will start to produce.

Tanev 37 point pace, Blueger 25 and ZAR 21. Given their usage/match ups it’s still pretty good and Tanev’s is insane. Now way are you getting 3 guys going at close to 40 points given their assignments on the 3rd line without playing top 6 players there.

Blueger is heating up too. He’s scored more points in the last 15 games than the first 27 games. He’s going at Tanev’s pace since December 1st.

Don’t underestimate the BART line.

General statement (for everyone). I understand some aren’t sure of some our players because some haven’t done this over too long of stretch before but I think some people are underestimating some players and the team given what they are doing. The stats and the eyes are really popping this season. Some might not be big names but everyone is contributing. That’s a big compliment to Sully too.
