The thing is we don't look out of our depth against a top team. That's a good sign.

My unhappy point is the asinine change on the PK being the deciding factor of the game so far. Them's the breaks.

No surprises here, but never enough movement on the power play. Same perimeter passes seeking the same cross-ice lane. Fox getting net-front last game was a game-changer in how that unit looked in OT.

Please win.. I really don't want to see vesey and goodrow in the top 6 next game
More like top line.

Having Trouba on PP2 instead of Miller just highlights Gallant's insecurity as a coach to make "tough" decisions with veterans. He's either scared to do it or he's never thought of it, which would just make him dumb.

He at least budged by removing Trouba from 3vs3 OT but I agree with you, Miller deserves to be there.

It's funny because I hardly even call that a "tough" decision. Trouba is terrible on the powerplay. He's not an offensive player and he has ZERO vision. He routinely blasts pucks into shinpads. He's a guy you clearly dont want on a powerplay. Key is honing his offensive ability. He has vision and patience, and he has that killer instinct in his game. You clearly want to cultivate that. Terrible coaching.

It's been an even game but special teams may decide this game. Dallas is great on the PP and PK.

Kreider has been nonexistent the entire game. He is so f***ing bad!!!
🤣

It's not a tough decision in terms of personnel. Miller is a better offensive player and it's not close. It's more tough because of what it does to Trouba's psyche to be told he's an $8M guy and Captain, yet not good enough for either PP unit.
