I am actually shocked that LA's style has such an amazing record under their coach. I don't watch a ton of their games. How do they even score in most games playing this turd style hockey?

They have to be just waiting to pounce on mistakes. Smother with their coverage then be opportunistic.

When he played for us last season he wouldn't skate hard every night. Half of the games he looked to be skating at half speed. Frustrated the hell out of me.

I keep hearing that we need big guys to protect our stars but the truth is other teams need big guys to protect their guys FROM our stars. Draisaitl and Mcdavid can be just brutal and I love it.

And McDavid has perfected one of my absolutely favorite moves from my playing days. When guys are skating against a better skate they tend to get too far over their skates and all it takes is a little bump in the back hip and they’re going forward but you want to follow through and keep driving that hip and thigh along them as they’re falling and just squish their head between your hip/thigh and the boards. It’s the best.
