I don’t think he’s soft. Most of his injuries come from crashing the net or forechecking hard. Hintz is often banged up in the playoffs because he’s going fast into hard places. We saw Suter never miss a single shift as a Star because he refused to push himself hard enough to risk injury.

Hintz is similar to Benn in that aspects of his on-ice demeanor look lazy, even though it's not at all a word I'd use to describe either player. But plenty of fans let that affect their opinion of these players anyway.

I have a fire stick and will occasionally cast from my phone. Not going to bore you with all the details, our main TV area has an odd electric outlet setup. We hate looking at cords. That’s the main reason I want the native app.

I bought a Roku stick that plugs into my TV's HDMI port and that's all it needs. Honestly not sure how it's powered through the HDMI, but I'm not gonna question it.

30 bucks, can't see it, and works like an absolute dream. Would highly recommend.

It's powered via USB through one of the ports on the back of your TV lol. Roku Express, damn cheap for the whole season of games

I want it on record that I never wanted to trade either of them. They are the next wave of our forwards and will help to extend a contention window for another several years. They are necessary to the long term success of the team, and can contribute enough now to be more worthwhile overall than a deadline acquisition.

Bichsel is a luxury and will never be a gamebreaker in the way Bourque and Stankoven could be. If any of the high end youngsters move, it should be him.

If a 35 game warmup was necessary for Bourque to find his NHL game then it was well worth it. He probably has the best passing/vision on this team behind Duchene. Guy has the ability and we need him. Really pleased he's not just figuring it out but becoming productive. He and Logan becoming contributors in the 2nd half can make a huge difference.

I disagree that Bischel is a luxury. I read some articles where size in the playoffs is key to success, and he provides that, along with big hits, and his skating is good enough to move the puck. Where were we weak against LV? Size on defense. Yes, against EDM last year, it was a stinky power play as much as anything, but I doubt we contend over the next few years without him. I also saw a thread here where a redraft in Harley's year would have moved him from 18th to the top 6 or so. Bish also picked at 18 and I think he follows suit when all is said and done.

I know Nill believes in size, and I also know he tries very hard to trade our second best prospects at any position. He wouldn't trade Miro, and I don't think he will trade Harley or Bish. In his thinking, Hemming would be an easier sell - Had a nice World Juniors after a slow start, has the first round pedigree, i.e., he is still the shiny object that some will believe would develop. Time will tell, but we don't even have a true second best D prospect at the moment, but someone might take a flyer on Bertucci, Minnettiaen or Kyrou, who are easily expendable. If not, no deal.

I'm mostly thinking there's no way to acquire Andersson without trading a legit prospect. And Bichsel is the only one we've got not already on the NHL roster. Plus, we've got two LHD in Miro and Harley locked up for another decade and another good LHD in Lindell for at minimum a few more years.

Regarding the bolded: that's a tall task to ask for rookies, especially come playoff time where the name of the game is either out skating the interference or fighting through it to make a difference. Stankoven struggled a lot in the playoffs. I certainly hope they can do it. Their best way to prevent being traded is to tear it up over the next six weeks to show they can contribute now.

Regarding Bichsel: I'm not a fan of trading him because I think the team is going to need him very soon. A guy who is huge and can skate as well as him can be extremely valuable if he keeps improving, especially for a team like the Stars who don't exactly have much size in the lineup or in the system.

I also look at where the Stars have depth to trade. The have several good and young forwards. This team doesn't have any other defensive prospects with an NHL future other than Bichsel.

He's also not very far away from being the fourth best option on the blue line because once you get past their great top three, there is a big drop off. If you trade him, your future blueline help is probably coming from the same bargain bin shopping that lead to the Dumba contract.
