Man, you see the glimpses of what the team can/will become and it’s so exciting. Fast, highly skilled, high paced. I’m impressed by their game today — keeping up with a young super talented Devils team is no small thing. A Devils team that really wants to win.

I don’t know if they’re going to win this game but they’re playing super well.

Also, one thing I love about Askarov aside from everything is how specifically he kicks rebounds out to his guys for a quick transition. It’s SO helpful for a team that generally struggles with transitions and it’s also an incredibly high skilled thing to do. Once again, I can’t believe we got Celebrini AND Askarov in one summer, like what the f***

Also, Smith is actually looking really good this game he’s just having a dose of bad luck. He’s made high skilled plays and is all over the puck today.

I think, like with most Smith games, there's been a few really impressive plays and a few just annoyingly frustrating boneheaded mistakes.

Sharks need to play more Saturday Afternoon Home Games. They have a big crowd there, the atmosphere is electric and in like 2 years the Sharks are going to be great again. This is how you grow the game in San Jose. The Kings do it all the time (Surprisingly the Ducks don't but maybe that's a Disneyland Factor)
