If this team could figure out some set defensive zone breakout plays I'd live with the other warts.

Saw a graphic that stated the Caps will be playing only 4 teams with a winning record out of their 12 January games. For the last 2 years I have been thinking it was the Pens and Caps turn to really go sour, fold up the tent and head South in the standings. Nope.
I guess with the amazing superstars that they sport, THEY would not allow any of such thing. THAT is what I want our team to have.
A LEADER by example, game in and game out, year in and year out.

With all our complaining, through 41......only 4 teams have less regulation losses than we do. True there are many that have 13 and 14, but still.

And, how in God's great name does a team go 32-4-4? And it just happens to be the team that I probably despise more than any other.
Yeah, that goes way way back for me.
I have forgiven my team for trading two of my idols (Ratelle and Park), but I will NEVER forget.

Don't forget they added Middleton as a sweetner later on.
 
this game is concerning...the impression publicly had always been the move of reavo was closer to a mutual parting of ways, hearing him sound less than thrilled with his exit stands to reason there's going to be an escalated temperature to this game. sure he'll have their locker room coming out playing physical and they have a several big boys who can smash people...of course greenway is back tonight.

igor needs to move every puck he can to save our dmen from as many hits as possible. chytil and krav particularly have a tendency of getting bundled and better be extra mindful of keeping their heads up in this one.
