Knights were going to let us have the perimeter in their end all night. We have no ability to penetrate the high danger areas and make teams work to shut us down. We play where we are safe from contact and pressure and effectively shut ourselves down by not having the talent to take meaningful ice over. On the defensive side, we’re still soft and bad at moving the puck. All you have to do is wait for the bad pinch, the bad pass or the inexplicable (but inevitable) turnover and capitalize. We look better than we did last month because it would be impossible to look worse, but this is still a horribly flawed hockey team that lacks leadership and cannot move the puck fluidly.
That was a knee against Miller there. Dirty.
