Keep finding ways to lose and we'll be down with the Habs and Wings before long. Seems to be more of a destiny than anything for this team
I said it before Habs will be in front of us by mid february...maybe mid January they just found the next Carey Price in Dobes

I watched the last two periods. Second was none too good. Third was obviously better, but man is this team slow. Barzal has more speed than our entire team. Coyle was bad. He struggles against the Isles for some reason. Marchy was bad as well.

Otoh, I thought the d pairings were better and Zadorov played well. Succko's line changes continue to confound though.

Trade is needed but honestly who wants our 'B' players because they have to keep the few "A' players - We keep Pasta and well Marchand but he is at the end of his career. This team needs not one but 2 or 3 key spots filled. Another scorer to help a besieged Pasta, a quarterback on the powerplay and a real #1 center. How can we pull that off? We are bringing in old beat up stuff to a second hand store and need to walk out with gold.
I am not sure if Zadorov has NMC attached but I would try to ship that money out if I could.Teams could use his type in playoffs.Bruins make no sence carrying that at this stage.

The Pasta line and Pasta especially were pretty legit in that 3rd period. Marchys line was very quiet tonight. Thought the Frederic line was solid, and Kastelic brought a lot of energy. I did like the physical play when they were down to get back into it but wish they played like that before trailing. That Wotherspoon Peewee 3 board rim when he had room to make a better play bothered me, but Marchy needs to make a better play along the wall there. Felt like they were all patient breaking out and making the right play after that, which looked so much cleaner and effective that led to their comeback.

Loved Beecher start to the season but he cooled off. Still like his speed at times on the forecheck but why not get Poitras back up to middle Kastelic and Koepke.. those guys are capable of providing more offense if they have someone that can get them the puck in scoring areas.

That's being way too kind.

That line was awful.

I’m actually pretty impressed that this completely void of skill at forward (minus Pasta) has scored a bunch the past couple games. Sweeney and Neely are morons. They think this team has skill. Boring team and most of them can’t make a 10’ pass.

But other than that.

From the piss poor training camp, the Swayman negotiations, the Montgomery firing, and the atrocious start. Writings been on the wall all season.

I know they won’t, but they should really figure out quickly who they’re keeping and who they aren’t.

Time to make some tough decisions and acquire some assets that will help you going forward.

Please do not invest in THIS season
What’s the common denominator there ? O’yea you can add in the Lindholm contract and not calling up Potrais or giving Merkolov and Lysell an extended look. The guy who is actually responsible for putting one of the slowest teams in the league together. Losers of their last 4 and now they’re off to face Edmonton, Fla,and Tampa twice in their next 4.

Watch them do well against that schedule. 😃
