I agree that Josh Anderson is good. Definitely has a future as a bottom 6 NHLer. But, I don't think he's better than Rychel overall and to give him the benefit(?) of being older is a bit of a stretch. He's only 5 months older.

Either way, happy to see Anderson pick up his offensive production in the AHL and I'm happy to see him in the lineup tonight. Just wish we could have him AND Rychel

We'll probably have them both up soon enough.

My view is that unless Rychel outscores Anderson by a good margin, that Anderson is the better player. Anderson is faster, and better along the boards and on the forecheck.

Jones is the first guy since Tomas Vokoun in 2007 that we've lost and I genuinely care how he does after leaving here. I'm sure in time I won't really focus on it that much but right now I am. Granted, back from our division rivalry days I've never exactly been a Columbus fan, but it wouldn't pain me to see you guys play well for a little bit here. Drake's mancrush on Jones eclipses mine, but I'm on the same page for sure. As Bobby Mac said on a TSN interview yesterday, he hopes it works out well for both guys as it might mean we see more good hockey trades like this going forward. Could have something to do with the fact that Anderson is a RH shot as well. Maybe they wanted a RHS to play on the right wing instead of Rychel?

Their last game was bad, but they've been pretty solid this season. They were allowing the least amount of shots on goal in the NHL. Plagued by brutally bad goaltending.
