Before the season started a lot of people were slotting Vinny as just an extra dman. I couldn’t help but wonder, why wouldn’t this guy take another step forward? He works hard, he’s smart. Turns out he did continue to improve, guys absolutely an NHLer now.

It really would be special to see him and Stu win a Cup together, would be a special story

Desharnais has gotten better and better this season. He's making some fantastic passes, and his defense -- especially on the PK -- has been great.
