Montreal is the team to watch in this regard. They've won 7 of 9 and are 5-1 since they called up Dobes.

Too early to say for sure but it looks like the claims of their rebuild being over might not be completely out of touch.

Because other teams have actual talent.

This Islanders team while not good, actually has some decent pieces in the top 6. Barzal, Horvat, Lee, Duclair and even old ass Brock Nelson are all legit top 6 forwards. Their defense is pretty underrated between Pelech and Pulock too.

The Bruins legitimately have less talent in their top 6 than bottom feeders like Chicago and San Jose at this point.
