It is getting insufferable. Twitter is actually more polite than this place now. I love talking hockey and used to take comfort in the fact I could express an opinion and not get a sarcastic rude response back from someone even if they disagreed with me. Thinking of leaving.

When did Korpisalo last play ? I remember him being hung out to dry a lot but he could have played better. I don’t really have much faith in him either but if he plays well today give him the next start .

That Oesterle is a 32 year old AHLer. No wonder he shoots straight into the logo.

In fairness to him he has played twice as many games in the NHL as AHL. He has been basically a #7 NHL D man the majority of his post NCAA career.

Incidentally his shot wasn't in the logo, it was directly in Woll's glove.

Carlo needs to be on a new team.

Everyone will hate any McAvoy trade so why bother. Just get a 2rd that you can give some pp time that pushes him.

I'd do what we did in 2010 and trade the deadwood for picks and cap space. Play the kids and improve the roster in the summer. We can still finish 8 and make a run.

Start by taking McAvoy off the PP.

I just think that their margin is so low with how hard it is for them to score that mental fatigue slips in. They kind of have to play perfect games to win and it’s a game of mistakes.

Carlo has a 8 team no trade for this year, lowered to 3 teams next year.
Deep down we'd keep the more cap friendly Carlo (4.1 a year) and somehow someway move McAvoy who at 9.5 million a year....that would be a bit of an ordeal.

This is a significant reason why they went with Swayman. Ullmark was able to carry the load one year and broke down late in year and PO. He will be an injury risk every year.

Yes, I don't dislike Ullmark anywhere as much as Swayman.
His arrogant, cocky attitude, his not being concrned with
helping his employer as much as other goalies (who probably
can't stand him anyway). It seems like it was all a plan to
make excuses for his greedy demands.

I mean, Ully screwed the B's by not allowing a trade to L.A.
but the screwing that Swayman is giving them game in game out
for the next several years is the curse that keeps on giving.

I am holding out hope that this season is an anomaly, just the perfect
storm of things going wrong all at the same time.
