He’s giving them quality starts at a far lower clip than he has his whole career. He used to be 63%, now you’re bragging about 53%. You can be fine with your $8.25 mill Elvis Merzlikens, I have higher standards. When a guy gets paid that much I generally don’t want their game to crater immediately after.

You have to factor in the swiss cheese D and the uptick in penalties this season.

Honestly guys what difference what seedings make. You get Wildcard 1 you play New Jersey or carolina get 3rd play leafs Tampa or cats. They all tough first round opponents. Just get in . Come on shep halfway in season plus our record isnt completely disastrous. Heck we might still close a top 3 Atlantic division spot if they can get inti a bit of a hot streak. Win tomorrow against fish sticks and start there .

Yeah I specifically almost posted about how he’s sneakily a bit greasy, I’m pleasantly surprised by that aspect of his game. Just needs to pick up the production (so does everybody else)

No he wasn’t . They were a great regular season duo . Rock solid goaltending on most nights. All will be forgiven if Swayman is great in the playoffs assuming they make it .

This is unironically something that should be under serious consideration right now.

Bruins weren't great tonight but they win that game with any average NHL-level goalie in net.

Toronto far from impressive. Not a threat in any sense. Bruins nearly managed OT.

Can’t believe we lost to those s***birds. Multiple trips by Toronto went uncalled, especially the trip on Geekie right in front of the Leaf net with 3:00 left in the 3d. Beating ourselves with mental errors and gaffes, including basic inability to clear the zone. Carlo and Mac were not the only ones, but they both cost us a goal. I have always defended Mac, but he is clearly not playing like a 9.5M defenseman and we have three more years at that price. Holy s.

Nice to see Pasta get two and Freddy score. Getting a goal 6 on 5 was nice, but Sacco pulling Sway down only one goal with 2:30 left was hall of fame moronic - and it of course led to a goal against. Way too early. 1:30 is the time to make the pull.

There were glimmers of things to like in this game. It’s been a long time since we scored 4. Not afraid of Toronto - at all, whatsoever. Our naysayers notwithstanding, the sky did not fall and it was not a blowout.

Tons of teams beyond us would love our position right now. Ask sens rags flyers etc. I say were doing a solid B grade so far in terms of standings we have a decent record with all that has happened with sway being a late season signing and firing monty . Its actually remarkable were still competitive. Win tomorrow and man does it swing stronger for a wildcard berth and hopefully higher from there.
