Brazeau and Geekie have been good for a month.

Frederic, his whopping 1 goal in his last 12 and 3 in 22, aside, has been pretty bad.

He’s only scored in 4 games this year.

I want a little more than “giving them a chance”, I want “actively winning them games” at that price tag. You want your backup to give you a chance, not your highly paid “elite” starting goalie. At least that’s what the standard should be

I mean 2 or less goals in 53% of his last 15 games is doing that. 1 goal or less in 33% of his last 3 games is doing that. In today's NHL a middle of the road team has a GF/GP of 3. So if Swayman is giving up 3 or less in 80% of the games, the Bruins should be taking points in most games.

In Swayman's last two starts before tonight he allowed 2 goals in both games...... he still got the loss and he was still blamed by fans

This game reminded me of Game 6 in Florida, 2023.

Still wish Monty yanked Ullmark that night. Loved Ullmark. Always liked him better than Swayman. But he didn’t have it that night and couldn’t perverse the lead. Swayman shouldv’e been thrown in.

Marshand is retiring a Bruin and is our only consistent forward and Chuckie has the ability to be something but Carlo has been brutal since his first concussion, so I wouldn't be upset if he were dealt! So Marshy, Mac, Kastelic, and the 2 goalies are keepers for me, the rest, don't care, fire them into the sun if you want. So sick of the falling down, dropping sticks, soft play , brutal D, blind back passes, and weak clearing shots! Did I miss anything because there are a million holes in this roster and we have nothing worth trading except our first pick.

I wanted a stop on that broken play after the defensive break down by Carlo. The behind the back on ice drop shot. I bet we see Korpi stand on his head tomorrow with full of life acrobatic desperation saves.

I mean sure, but lets really think about that play. Carlo had positioning and Swayman is expecting him to pick that pick off (like he should have). Knies swims around Carlo and had the puck on his stick 10 feet away and uncontested. He's a left shot and on his forehand heading to the far post. Swayman is sliding to beat him to the far side anticipating the move. The puck hops on Knies, he loses it and in a last ditch effort he throws it behind him. Swayman is committed to the far side and Knies gets fortunate enough that the puck finds the near side gap.

If love to get a save there but I'm not expecting one.

Geekie, Frederic and Brazeau were all plus players.

Im not talking about this single game. Like I said, they're useful players but they don't push the pace and when it's 1/3 of the forwards they put on the ice, Bruins are an easy team to counter.

If Mac is truly worth his 9M contract then many Playoff bound teams would want to add him. These are the types of trades the team has to make not just adding depth pieces .

He’s giving them quality starts at a far lower clip than he has his whole career. He used to be 63%, now you’re bragging about 53%. You can be fine with your $8.25 mill Elvis Merzlikens, I have higher standards. When a guy gets paid that much I generally don’t want their game to crater immediately after (and that’s what going from 4th to 75th in Saves Above Expected is…behind largely the same personnel too)

Honestly guys what difference what seedings make. You get Wildcard 1 you play New Jersey or carolina get 3rd play leafs Tampa or cats. They all tough first round opponents. Just get in .
