Many years ago I was excited about a new goalie and it completely brought me back into the game of hockey in a way that has still continued to this day. That goalie was Nabby.

Askarov is the first goalie that I’ve been excited about since then.

Completely agree. I liked Blackwood and I used to love Nabby, but besides that, I’ve never really cared much about a Sharks goalie. Askarov isn’t just super good, he’s got a wildly entertaining way of playing AND I just love his personality. He just feels perfect for this team that once had Burns, Thornton, etc as big personalities.
