Askarov will probably keep them in this game but they won't deserve it and won't be all that well set up for success. Liljegren as the only competent puck mover when he's on his game isn't going to be enough against a team like Tampa. I hope Graf impresses too. Seems silly to have Kostin with Granlund and Zetterlund and not Kovalenko but that 3rd line with Wennberg and Toffoli doesn't have many good options for that 3rd spot. A guy like Cardwell there would've probably done more good than what they're hoping for here.

This team has become 23-24 levels of unwatchable. This may be worse at the moment because I’m seeing Celebrini get extremely frustrated.

I disagree with the team being 23-24 levels of unwatchable. Up until the Eklund/Walman injuries, this team has been very competitive and watchable. With a few key injuries, it’s been a tougher watch as of late but having Celebrini’s line up playing alone keeps this team from reaching the unwatchable levels of last season

I actually disagree, I think he’s okay at protecting the puck and creating havoc in the offensive zone… when he’s on and not in his head (or whatever causes him to be so inconsistent). When he’s playing hard and skating, I think he’s actually really good - big dude with soft hands. But he’s just very inconsistent.

Inconsistent is what I would use to describe Eklund's season. Kostin has just been straight garbage.

With all the injuries, the only other healthy forward is Dellandrea so Kostin has to play somewhere

Would rather see Dellandrea in the lineup, even in Kostin's spot next to Granlund and Zetterlund. At least he hustles and kills penalties. Probably has a better chance of scoring right now too.
