The real problem with the term insider is that they're literally just mouthpieces for members of both teams and player organizatons. They're basically just hypemen with a title that implies they're going to give some kind of unapproved scoop.

In reality they go to the league or their handler and get permission to go with whatever story they're pushing.

Though if they did what their title implies they'd probably lose their press credentials with the league

Perfetti has been good tonight, I have no idea what you are watching. I guess that when you decide someone "ain't it" thats it for you, no objectivity.

He has hit a post with a great shot, blocked two shots, has a hit and has set up at least 3 opportunities that easily could have been goals. But ya lets bring up the guy that is half a point a game in the AHL caue he will suddenly score more in the NHL.
