I honestly dunno what some of you guys are watching. I really want Kasper to succeed but he has looked like Zadina 2.0 for about ten straight games.

He needs to be scratched or sent down.

Looking like Zadina is fine. He's safe, makes plays, is snakebitten AF. If he were playing poorly or completely lost, sure. But his on ice impact is fine. The only thing missing in his game is production. He's not going to find a way to score NHL points from the press box or GR.

Zadina was an elite prospect with a supposed elite shot. Kasper has always been a what can his offense be type guy. I don't see the comparison at all or on ice.

It’s one of the things I love about our broadcast team. They aren’t insufferable homers like every other set of announcers and recognize elite talent when it’s there. I love it personally. Bedard is a franchise player and he’s rightly focusing on him.

We still make mistakes managing the defensive coverage but it’s way less noticeable when we’re winning the possession battle
