Finnish contains umlauts, specifically the letters "ä" and "ö" which are considered separate letters in the Finnish alphabet and are pronounced differently than "a" and "o" respectively; so technically, they are not just diacritics on top of those letters but distinct vowel sounds

Yes, double umlauts. Ä and Ö are different than Å though. And no such equivalent exists to O with a single umlaut, at least not in Finnish or Scandinavian languages.
