I believe both Savard and Laine practiced with the team yesterday? A back/back and I bet you both play Saturday. Avoid the travel and being home for one more day helps I guess.

Habs are winning games so ride it and let them 100% recover.

Dobes getting another nasty road game (Panthers, Avs, and now Caps). One way to see what a guy is made out of is to test them and boy are we ever.

I figured Coach would put Dobes in the more difficult match up. I guess his thinking is either Dobes is better so I will play him against the better team or Sam is better and I will play him at home against a slightly worse opponent because he wants to make sure we win at least one of these two back to back games.

I’m surprised by this because he was skating with them yesterday and I believe I saw him out in the public participating in some kind of event with his gf.

Washington coach May not want to match Wilson’s line with Anderson’s line. He probably knows Anderson has his number too. 💪

Looking forward to this one. Ovechkin is like an old Russian war tank...You don't think it will be effective but somehow it still starts up and manages to blow shit up.

Heineman needs more minutes and its especially easy to do with Laine out. MSL needs to try it.

I'm a big struble fan, I think he can become a dynamite utility Dman. I also think he can be traded if the right return came along. Either way I want him to keep improving. I think he's been better with each game he's played since Savard went down.

Struble and Axe have quietly been very good recently
