Hextall is as bad as I remember her. Even if she has improved. But she started out so low, I think the explanation is you forget just how awful she is. And when you realize she is still 90% as bad as she was, that still makes her as bad as I remembered her. I don't know if that makes sense.

Oh, and Montreal is one slimy beast, outtanking everybody. Nasty.

Montreal definitely started skating harder but the Yotes lost some composure up 2 and got lazy IMO.

What gives me some hope is the development, scouting departments BA has put together and the fact that we've got kids in the system that look to be NHL players that will contribute now and in the future:

Moser/Soderstrom/Kolyachonok/Maccelli/Prosvetov/McCartney/Jenik

add in these guys plus Guenther, Doan, Fedotov (really high on him), and the 12 picks this upcoming draft...and it's the brightest this org has ever looked with potential talent.
