well the good news is the team showed up to at least compete. the kids look awesome, laf looks better every game these days. more confident, quicker, more engaged. kakko as well playing really good hockey. and they're getting zone time and pressure against a team that makes you work for every bit of it. that is unbelievably good stuff to see

the bad news is in another tight checking game the mika line is completely useless. worst line on the ice, have to survive every shift they play. in their zone the entire game. when they do get possession trying braindead cross ice passes when the isles clearly collapse the middle instead of taking it to the ugly areas and working for offense. just complete refusal to live in reality. kreider doesn't even deserve a roster spot right now.

can't help but say again damn is laf making huge strides. you can see his confidence on the puck, everything about his game looks so much better. and it is so awesome to see. and now another kid in miller with the bomb after a great play by kakko down low to hold a puck deep...maybe our first line can take notes. the kids are buzzin
