We are so lucky we didn’t have to sign him last year. We would have massively overpaid.
Most likely another LA 1st round matchup unless Vegas really tanks. They should be the NYI tonight.

Was crystal clear yet again the other teams goalie was far far better than ours. Would have Nedjelkovic over Skinner any day of the week. Its the thing that theres around 20 goalies around the league that in back up roles that could probably be better options. Nedj made easily a dozen stops tonight that Skinner just can't make.

Bouchard has to be the luckiest dude alive to get free shxx handed to him on a silver platter only to consistently fxxx it up. His consistency in missing the puck when passing or walking the line is generational and his stupidity in his own zone is exceptional.

Dude is only like 20 points higher than league average while Shhhhkkkkkina is a couple points below
That being said, IF Skinner can continue this pace or close to it, I can't complain I guess

He's an undersized goalie prone to hot and cold stretches of play.
In the first, every time Stu made a good save we gave position back to the Pens. 4 goals on hdsc in the slot

Sorry but this is silly. Look what the goalies face vs what their respective teams give up. What Skinner faced in the first period is PAR for what the Pens give up any night of the season. The perspective that the Oilers are so airtight typcially and maybe the best Defensive team in league needs to be there in the evaluation. Just look at the goalies. Who do you think is better?

I just judge goalies this way
Flip 2 goalies. Say Ned in EDM and SKinner in PITTS. SKinner in SJ, Blackwood in EDM. etc

...and Carolina Hurricanes. A better defensive club than the Oilers, who were inconsistent in that regard for the majority of the past four seasons of Skinner's career.
Skinner is better than Ned.
