Why cooley is 20 center and exploding. You think you get him cheap? I actually think utah will deny the deal. That's ridiculously bad

In 120 games he's scored 30 goals. That's more Alexandre Daigle/Bryan Lawton than it is Sidney Crosby/Auston Matthews. Why cooley is 20 center and exploding. You think you get him cheap? I actually think utah will deny the deal.
Well we've had the ineptitude of Detroit and Buffalo and Ottawa etc to thank for that but some of them look like they are finally getting it together. Not all of them, but some of them.
It'll be a miracle if they find a way to stay competitive with that weak pipeline we have.
If there’s interest in Marchand ?Rebuild period. I hate to say it but if there is interest in Marchy ask him to waive no trade and move him. Move Freddy too. Per Friedman there is interest in Freddy.
Likeky alot for a contender. Trade deadline teams pay a premium for players like MarchyIf there’s interest in Marchand ?
They only got one 3rd rounder in that trade; they got a conditional pick, but Tocchet didn't resign with Washington, so it didn't happen. Originally Konowalchuk was in the trade, but then the Caps discovered that Tocchet was a UFA at the end of the season and took him out and subbed the conditional pick (IIRC it was a 2nd rounder).Need a trade a la 1997 when they dealt Oates/Ranford/Tocchet for high picks and blue chip prospects.
Deal Pastrnak for a blue chip center prospect, top end winger prospect and 1st rounder from a bottom 10 team and sign me up.
OMG! Must have been drunk or something.I'm still shaking as I faced a wrong-way driver on I 84 in CT just south of Sturbridge

Carter scored two goals against us just before the trade, and O'C was sold on him. Allison became a #1 center here and Carter became a top six winger. Da Broons were given their pick of any one of the three Caps' goalies (Kolzig, Cary, or Dafoe).
nopeI would do pasta for cooley.
Marchand will retire a Bruin. Period. If there’s interest in Marchand ?
I nominate you for GM of the LeafsI would do pasta for cooley.
I think he’s played like this since… I don’t know. November? I’ve loved his game this season.I must have been watching a different game than a lot of people here. I thought that was one of Marchand’s best games this season. He was in on every puck battle and won most of them. Kind of reminded me of Marchand from two years ago.
Sell high always. Look at Frederic probably could have gotten a 1st round pick last year now your gonna a 3rd if your lucky.Marchand will retire a Bruin. Period.
I nominate you for GM of the Leafs
Yes he will.Marchand will retire a Bruin. Period.
...and stop PUCKS!They should have kept the goalie they sent to Ottawa, at least he could score
Bruins learned that lesson trading best player .Pass for me.Sell high always. Look at Frederic probably could have gotten a 1st round pick last year now your gonna a 3rd if your lucky.
I wouldn't trade pasta but if I did now is the time you will get a boatload. Hopefully lindholm and pasta can find more chemistry. Looks like lindholm is kinda getting warm.Bruins learned that lesson trading best player .Pass for me.
if you trade him , you willI'll only trade pasta for a top 3 pick that's it.
he will receive one million by assist this season )))He makes 5.25 million a year
Gavin McKennaif you trade him , you will
have 5 more top 3 picks from
bruins seasons 2026-2030
I was not pissing over last night's game I am talking overall. You are happy with his performance then to each their own. The return for the big bucks is not very good.I didn’t argue he should be better this year but to piss and moan over a game that he still made key saves to keep us in it seems like agenda more then anything ..
Quick made one save that was stand out and you could easily say McAvoy shot it at his pad so please..
IF your gonna compare salary’s with every game and goalie we play against without acknowledging how bad are offensive is your gonna continue to be disappointed.
Right, and we've picked up points against inept teams on a frequent basis.Completely untrue.
Since 2017-18 Bruins have had over 100 points in every season except the covid season.
They have been first or second in their division 5 times.
Chara came as a free agent, same summer as Savard did.Right, and we've picked up points against inept teams on a frequent basis.
Look, it's pretty simple. We built a really good team drafting people like Bergeron and trading for people like Chara. We had some good runs but only won 1 cup and missed on several deadline deals that were supposed to take us over the top. In those deals we traded away the future and now the bill has come due. We have not replaced the guys that took us to those cup finals and we do not have a pipeline to rebuild with.
It's impressive we haven't fallen sooner, but the fall is inevitable. The deadline deals killed us. Right now we get by on good team play and veteran savvy but the skill is sorely missing. If we somehow squeak into the playoffs we will be an early exit and there's no way we come close to beating Florida.
If Sweeney somehow manages to rebuild this team with trades and signings in the next year or two he will be performing miracles. What he did with all that money this year certainly hasn't gotten it done that's for sure.
Correct. I was thinking of Horton in trade and Chara signing and somehow my brain went too many beers for you tonight.Chara came as a free agent, same summer as Savard did.
