The other hilarious thing about this is that, despite going up 3-0 to start, this may actually be the WORST defense I’ve EVER seen us play in the NHL. Period. Actually, I take that back. They’re just not playing defense. At all. Can’t even qualify as bad defense when they’re just not playing any.

Also, Jason Robertson lost half a step on his atrocious skating and now genuinely sucks. From 100 points and 40 goals to barely an NHL player, at the age of 26, because his skating is so bad.

Obviously this is the Dallas Stars being bad at developing their young stars and totally not sucking at skating means you're going to suck at hockey in the 2020s.

Fox has mailed in his entire Rangers tenure since he secured the bag. Doesn’t take his fitness seriously. Doesn’t spend his off season working to improve his deficiencies. Cry babied his way to NY so that he could be near mommy and daddy and stay with his high school sweetheart. Got here, got rich, got married. I’m sure he could still be excellent, but he’d have to care and… we don’t do that here. Kid should really take his summers more seriously or he’s going to be 27 and in worse shape than some 40-50 year olds I know. I would absolutely obliterate him in a straight race on the ice.
