Although Dobes is showing more, this reminds me of when Monty should be nervous that Primeau overtake him because of both of their performances in the second half of last season. Not taking away anything from Dobes, but the team played perfect defense in front of him which is something Monty rarely gets. Oh and the former has played 2 games while the latter is playing more than any goalie in the league.

I don’t need a larger sample size to know his numbers are going to go down. He will get his chance to take the net and #1 spot, but it doesn’t need to happen after just two games.
