Honestly the PP is really the absolutely biggest issue this year. Even if they are 25% better they would have won some of these game or got OT points. Mind boggling it just isn’t any better than the start of the season

I thought Marchand and Pasta were phenomenal tonight and I’ve been really critical of them this season.

Two big observations for me from that game.

The Rangers were, as a team, worse than the Bruins most of the night.

The Bruins’ reliance on hope plays and their lack of offensive talent will result in them losing a lot of games in which they are the much harder working team.

Same as last game, decent effort, total lack of offensive skills. Too many 4th liners on our roster. At some point Sweeney has to make a move or his job could be finished... You can't let Potsy, Lysell, and Merkelov produce at the AHL level while 45,19,26,11 fill roster spots without producing.

Our stars trying to make crazy plays because they lack a supporting cast.

Frustrating game. Effort was there by a few players but the execution wasn’t - sloppy at times but the puck was bouncing. Rangers were holding on for dear life and we’re fumbling pucks / passing up shots to make plays - wish Marchy took it to the net or did the look off shot when he was on the door step instead of forcing that pass to Pasta. Lohrei was holding on to pucks too long tonight. Thought Wahlstrom looked pretty good at timesand brought some offense to that Brazeau Frederic line.

Fact is most of these players are not capable of scoring on NHL goalies. To many 3rd line players

Whenever i see 88 skating in that upright sakting trying to gain entry I know its an automatic turnover every time.

At the moment, he is the scariest guy to try to stick handle an entry with the goalie pulled, but he tried it anyway and coughed up the puck. I seriously think he is nursing a hand and/or wrist injury. Not possible otherwise to cough up the puck so often.
