I hear some people say that Fox is not playing great but he still has 27 assists compared to 11 for his old D partner McAvoy. The Bruins PP could use someone playing that bad.
I was waiting for this comparison. I imagine NYR fans are not pleased with how their team is performing but they are still loading with individual talents that enable scoring and PP threats. They can turn it around. Fox is still in a much better situation than McAvoy, Pastrnak, etc currently.

NYR have some toughness still, can only hope the Bruins are energized for this one.

Great post.

Exorcise would remove the demons. Exercise would just give them a workout.
My god- I didn't know that my wife the English major was on these boards as well :sarcasm:

Joking. I have edited it. Thank you.

Bruins: 5-4-1, averaging 2.7 goals, 3.9 assists, 3.7 penalties and 11.4 penalty minutes while giving up 2.9 goals per game.

Somewhat random though here, but I noticed the video of MSG's organ and it got me to thinking...

MSG has one of the better organs in the league. I always look forward to watching away games in arenas with good organs (NYR, NYI, CHI, LA, just to name a few). Couldn't help to notice the absence of the organ in Washington the last game. After some research, come to find out the Capitals got rid of their organist a couple years ago. That's a shame because they also had one of the better organ sounds in the league as well.

I think people suggesting the Bruins can’t get a wildcard spot are vastly overrating the other teams also vying for a wildcard spot . The Bruins bad start under Montgomery has probably doomed them to finish in a wildcard spot but that’s okay. Get Lindholm back , add a cheap veteran winger at the deadline and maybe Swayman gets hot and they will be a tough out . Would anyone feel more confident if they pulled a classic Bruins move and finished 2nd in the division and opened round 1 facing one of Florida, Toronto or Tampa ? I want the Bruins to win every game as a Bruins fan but I really don’t see much advantage to winning the division.

This is a big game for Boston starting 3 in 4 days with trip to Canada vs a strong Leafs team Saturday.

Even in WC good bet they face one of those teams 1st rd .Main thing outside locking up WC spot is health entering playoffs.

They need to stay out of the penalty box tonight. Rangers have been struggling but still have a potent PP. I'm assuming Quick will be in nets as Shersterkin is now on IR.

Watching Marchand there entering MSG ice so laid-back as a future Hall of Famer should, just got me thinking about when I had season tickets for Quebec League. He was just traded to VAl 'Dor Foreurs & they were playing Cape Breton 3rd round.Well the abuse me & I my buddies ( drinking of course lol) gave to that man & Kris LeTang was 2nd to no one and he would just smile or knod .We'll CB was up 3 games to 1 & Brad brought them back with huge OT goals to win that series in 7.I could never have imagined then that the Bruins would draft him and he would become one of my all time favorite players. It will be a really sad day for me when he retires.:bow::bow::bow:

Bruins have won 20 games, those wins were probably the worst 20 games other teams have played in the NHL.

Hopefully the Rangers play one of the worst games of the season and the Bruin's are able to pull off win 21.

I would much rather be a seller at the deadline for a change and get some draft picks and or prospects.
Aside from Potsy and potentially Lysell ( one game audition) our prospect list is not good.
We are far / far away from being a Stanley Cup contender.

I am not sold on Wahlstrom , but McLauglin is not the answer either . Time to send McLauglin back to providence
Give Wally a chance, play him 10 games and lets see what we have.
I agree 100% MM is not the answer.

Not quite sure what to expect from this one.

The Bruins have been up and down but the Rangers are so down they're halfway to China at this point.

Not to mention he is a better player with a shot that has the ability to actually score!
Probably true, but Wahlstrom* has 2 goals in 31 games this season. MacLaughin has 2 goals in 11 games played this season.

* Is he the first Bruins player with the first name of Oliver?

This is just screaming for a reply such as "I got your better organ right here."
But I will not stoop to that level of humour. Not me. Nope.
