why change what worked?
If Tarasenko comes in, Kyrou should absolutely no be the player to come out. If Tarasenko or Steen is capable of playing I would roll these lines
Schwartz - O'Reilly - Perron
Schenn - Bozak - Kyrou
Sanford - Thomas - Tarasenko
Steen - Sunqvist - Blais
If we had an average PK in this series they would have ~3 fewer goals and if we had an average PP we would have ~1 more, as hard as that last part is to believe. That is a four goal swing in just three games, or enough to turn this series from being down 2-1 to being up 2-1. They have to get better in both, and preferably stay out of the box altogether. Can we play like yesterday with special teams that are just average?
Has this been a thing ever? I cant remember them on a line together. I would love to see it.Tarasenko paired up with Thomas maybe lethal
People keep saying this, but in order for it to be lethal, Tarasenko will need to show some type of competitiveness to get open, back-check, and occasionally assist his linemates on the forecheck/other boardplay, or it’ll be more one-and-done’s/playing in their own end the entire time. I understand he’s coming off injury, but it’s the postseason and he has to be willing to battle away from the puck.Tarasenko paired up with Thomas maybe lethal

Unless Tarasenko is going to show some intensity he can just sit his ass in the pressbox. If they do put him back in I think they should play him on the 4th line and remind him what the fringe guys go through just to get in a game.
