I was at the game, think Durzi either dislocated his shoulder or worse case fractured part of his arm. After getting up from the hit he was screaming in pain before skating off holding his left arm as if he was carrying it.

the D is a mess right now and a lot of it has to do with Ian Cole. I thought he was going to be an upgrade, but clearly in the early part of the season, he isn't.

I thought he sucked balls in Tampa and that was a decade ago....

I like to think that after next season we'll be just like NJ is now. Very well rounded. We've got the pieces they just need time.

I think that is a stretch if we are talking defensive play.

Could be. I'm certainly being optimistic.

Our best D prospects will be making the NHL over the next two seasons. Simashev, MavLam, etc.

It has been all about the forward prospects making the NHL so far. And they're having a huge impact. I hope the young Dmen do too when they start making the NHL.

I think there could be a huge trade sometime in the next two seasons as well. Most likely to improve defense. We've got a lot of future assets to flip for right now pieces whenever it's deemed appropriate.

Geekie isn't going to be the only trade they make that stings, I think.

TV not nearly the view you had, but it sure looked like the upper arm got pulled away from the shoulder socket.
Durzi had shoulder surgery when with Kings org.
