Starting to think this team is legitimately cursed. The only thing that could derail a deep playoff run was having a goalie injury and now here we are. I 100% blame Bowman for this debacle and this shit falls squarely on his shoulders if they come up short again. Wish for once this franchise took goaltending seriously…
It really boggles the mind. Even if you believe in Skinner, why go into the playoffs without an adequate 3rd stringer? Delia is a 30yo bum and Rodrigue has not shown capable at all. Like it's not only that we have to have to worst roster tenders for playoff teams, we have nothing for depth either. It's not incredibly uncommon for the 3rd, 4th guy to come in and play above their head when teams have injuries, teams have won Cups on the backs of those depth guys.
Instead we put all our chips on fatass or Pickard having a miracle run. f***ing ridiculous.

Funny how Vegas was crying about refs after game 2. Meanwhile they injured our goalie with no call and the guy that should have been suspended scored their first goal.
Anyway this is all so brutal. It does feel like we’re cursed. But there’s no excuse for not at least adding a goalie for depth.. backups don’t cost that much.. like what the f*** man. It was such an obvious need and we’re stuck as fans watching these millionaires dunderheads in suits acting like they have any idea what they’re doing, or what this teams needs and has needed for years.
I’m expecting an absolutely heartbreaking series loss now. But it shouldn’t be so surprising. Pickard was such a pleasant surprise, were just kinda back into expected and familiar territory. Maybe we win 2 more games, I wouldn’t bet on it, but not many of us expected a cup these playoffs anyway.

We know what you're going to get with Skinner. But maybe one of those two can find some lightning.
Worse than that - he'll be remembered as the guy that cost McDavid 3 cups.
He'll have to move to like Wisconsin or some shit to find somewhere where everyone doesn't know he's the guy that sabotaged McDavid and Draisaitl.

They just called up delia, obviously no faith in Rodriguez. So I presume Skinner literally has 1 last shot at this

It’s crazy that we are a Stanley Cup contending team and we need to have the discussion of starting out 3rd or 4th string goalie lol.
Luckily we are still up in the series but the series has been so tight it means nothing.

Even if we eke this series out after Vegas spotted us a 2-0 series lead on the road, there is no way we beat the central champs (probably Dallas).

It’s almost like going into the playoffs with a starter that’s been basically unplayable all season was a bad idea.
