Slaf on the 4th opens up opportunities for him. Evans is a very intelligent centre. And you usually don't find good talents like both of them on the 4th. Give him 10-11 minutes there + 2nd PP unit and he'll be fine.

What's great about Guhle's first period is he was pretty much matched against Crosby every shift yet it's him we've seen and heard make great plays. It's only one period but the kid will be good...

Caufield, Guhle & Slafkovsky were great. Young D solid. Montembeault on his game, so far.

Surprising amount of turnovers by Pens. Needed to score on one of those. We outshot them 11-6.

Also, Leafs are losing 1-0 to Arizona after 1. Nick Ritchie with the goal.

May I know why some posters wanted him in the AHL? Lol. He easily stopped Crosby at the blue line, as if the guy was named gallagher. This guy is gonna be a stud for years to come

I was one that thought he'd be starting the year in the AHL. Now I'm wishing MSL would give him even more responsibilities.
