Man I used to love the Red Wings in the 90s and early 2000s what happened to them

Fedorov was my guy
Those teams were Masters at the Art of Interference.
Made it look so easy by accidentally on purpose skating in front of and setting picks on the opposing players to free up their puck carrier.
Loved watching it, but not against the Rangers.
Yelling at the screen, “How did the ref not call that!”

The thing is for years Rangers fans would complain we didn't have a guy like Tomas Holmstrom on their team now that they do they complain all he does is deflect pucks in front of the net.
We don't want a holmstrom-like player. We want a McDavid-type player who can also do Holmstrom things

Play 60 minutes. Whistle to whistle. Stick to your position defensively. Pucks in deep and cycle. Shots from the point and look for the dirty goals. Should be ok if we do that.
They just gotta play their game, stick to their game ya know, play how they know they can play, keep grinding, they'll keep themselves in the game if they can do that

ICYMI:

Do Something, Kakko! Season 2 premiere: Kaapo can't enough of poutine after Alexis introduces it to him. Filip goes into investigative mode when someone at the local dog park doesn't clean up. Riley confides in Alexis when he has trouble getting along with Chris and Mika.

Do Something, Kakko! Season 2, Episode 2, Part 1: In this very special two-part episode, Kaapo, fed up with his on-ice inability, befriends a party crowd that encourages him to do drugs. After finding out, Alexis and Filip enlist celebrity friends Liam Neeson, Jason Momoa, Celine Dion, Mayim Bialik and BTS to stage an intervention. Special guest stars: Liam Neeson, Jason Momoa, Celine Dion, Mayim Bialik, and BTS

Do Something, Kakko! Season 2, Episode 2, Part 2: After a celebrity-studded drug intervention, Kaapo decides to go cold turkey. Bedridden, his demands for more blankets and less blankets at the same, however, flummox Filip and Alexis greatly. Special guest star: John C. Reilly as "Lew Halbano" from Partnership for Drug-Free Kids.

Do Something, Kakko! Season 2, Episode 3 Kaapo apparently passes his driving test, but a technicality takes him back to the DMV to re-register. Alexis takes his test the next day and passes effortlessly. Filip watches with amusement.

Could we do the hockey equivalent of Love Island but with busts and sketchy agents instead of guys and gals? The prize could be an honorary college degree from Trump University and the right to a more dignified career.
