That was a terrible period for both teams. The Yotes looked just as bad.

Did the Kings even hit anyone in that period ? Did the Yotes for that matter ?

The single most fascinating part of all of this is that it seems that we have been transported back to early last season. This team overcame all of these problems late in the season, went on to fix all these problems and take control in the last nineteen games of the season and then go in a for all intents and purposes to destroy the playoffs on the way to their first Stanley Cup. After all of that, this season starts and we are watching all the same team, now, struggle with the same exact problems that they overcame last year.

Simply un-facking-real.

Every successful PK we get is kinda bittersweet. Yeah, we kept the opponents from scoring, but then it just reminds me of our failures to score on the PP time and time again.

Too many men, not enough hockey players that period. I understand that teams start in a funk during a shortened season, but starting in a funk extends to a quarter of the season awfully fast. Gotta get it together.

I can't wait until this team gets their confidence back, because watching them play at present when the ice tilts the Kings way during the course of the game is just depressing.

That 5 on 3.

Am i the only one who only sees Kings get called for too many men? I never see it in other games.

You don't see it in other games because other teams aren't this stupid. You change when the guy gets to the bench, guys like Stoll always try to get a head start and it cost us twice last game. Didn't spot who did it tonight.

Muzzin got on too fast.

And i watch other games in and always when i watch the kings play we always get it. I never see other teams get it.

Especially considering they put the exclamation point on the whole effort with the powerplay going berserk in game 6 to win them the cup. Then... whoops, right back to square 1. We'll never know, but I wonder how much different things would have been without the long layoff due tot he lockout.

Muzzin....He tried to play the puck right after coming on. when Scuds was still on the ice.

If they lose this game. I can totally see Sutter throwing and breaking stuff in the locker room.

The Sutter quote's should be really good.

I watched the 5 o 3 again, not a single onetime shot. all they did was pass the puck around and let the defenders get in the lanes, then shoot.never did they get the defenders moving.Thats not how you score
